Grey is a must!

This coming season, grey is a must! Grey is chic, effortless and simple. I personally love wearing grey because you can simply pair anything with it. As soon as I get up and think of an outfit, I think grey. Its versatile and easy. You can pair any colour with grey, such as a bold colour – orange! Grey is the perfect colour for fall as it can be layered and paired with almost anything. So ladies, go and grab some simple grey basics for the up and coming fall.

Black is my favorite colour. It’s chic, simple and effortless! Black can be worn in many different ways and is very simple to style. Black is very slimming and makes me personally feel very comfortable.  As were coming into fall I have been wearing black a lot more and styling it in many ways. Black can be worn with black or many different colours. It is easy to pair with muticoloured accessories or statement bags. Black is also great to layer with, you can layer a black jumper over a effortless white shirt and pair with some black jeans. Black is not hard to work with and you can make a very put together outfit! Personally I think no-one can go wrong with a simple black outfit.

Make a Statement.

Statement necklaces this summer are flawless. I LOVE them. This season I have seen a lot of people pairing outfits with statement necklaces. They can turn a casual t-shirt into something elegant and effortless. No matter what your style or fashion sense you can incorporate a statement necklace into your style. There easy and exciting. Personally, I feel they may be expensive in some cases, but you can find affordable ones from shops like Forever 21, like I have. I feel statement necklaces can be worn throughout the year, so this makes them an investment.

I love wearing my statement necklaces with big baggy t-shirts, so why don’t you give it a try?

Dove Grey.

So this summer, I am redecorating my room. I’m fed up of how my room looks and I have been inspired by Instagram and my mums new salon to redecorate.

At the moment, my room is purple and white but I personally don’t think my room represents my personality and who I am. My fashion sense is all about grey, black and white and  I don’t like colour. Due to this I’ve wanted to change my room up and have a good old paint. So, I’ve been inspired by my fashion sense and really wanted to bring it into my room and show who I am. I’ve typed in grey styled rooms on Tumblr and Instagram and I’ve really liked the simplicity of a grey and white room and feel it looks cleaner. I hate feeling cluttered and I like relaxing in my room on social media.

What I’ve done..

  • De-cluttered my room.
  • Painted my floor to a dove grey colour.
  • Painted my walls.
  • Taken old clothes, books, shoes and storage to charity.
  • Boxed up things I want to keep but don’t necessarily need.
  • Put most things under my bed and organised things.

I really think that summer time is a great opportunity to clean and detox your room for the up and coming term. This way you’ll feel relaxed and ready for studies or work. You need to feel comfortable in your room. You really need a clean head for work, and I feel a clean room will help you concentrate. I really wanted my room to express me and my personality. So why not take some inspiration and reorganise your room this summer? You don’t have to have a simple room like I wanted, you could go crazy and have a quirky room with different colours. Have your room say something about you!

Straight lines.

This year stripes are a must have fashion piece. They are very simple and effective when trying to put together a casual outfit. This summer I have seen a lot of striped clothing in high street shops and yes, I have already purchased three striped tops. I am loving the simple striped dresses, they are not fitted but simply hang off your body. They are great for hot countries as they do not stick to your body and are a thin material.  I have seen these dresses in Topshop and on Asos.

Stripes can be paired with any type of accessories and any colour. Navy or black stripes are paired perfectly with sunshine yellow or a vibrant green. Bright coloured handbags work very well with stripes because it is a staple piece against the simple pattern and I LOVE it.

I have purchased a striped t-shirt from Primark for £4 and I love it. You can easily buy a cheap striped tshirt and glam it up with jeans or denim shorts. You can simply pair a striped t-shirt with leather look trousers and high heels to change this out fit to night time.

I am loving this seasons trend of stripes and personally feel like it is really easy to pull off, so grab yourself a stripped t-shirt and a colourful handbag and your all set for the day.
