Staying warm this summer.

Sorry about the delay in posts but I am currently in the South of France and the wifi is rubbish where I am staying ūüė¶

But from this holiday I have found that I become very cold, very easily in the summer nights. From this I have worn a lot of casual jumpers with some comfy denim or jogger type shorts, my fave! Casual jumpers and shorts are the perfect outfit to sit around a campfire and chew on melted marshmallows. If it’s a little bit hot for a jumper then for an alternative, I would suggest is throwing on a flannel or shirt of any type of check. Shirts are perfect for just throwing on top of a casual t-shirt and denim shorts. ¬†This outfit needs no accessories because the jumper or shirts say it all, you’re chilling so there should be no fuss. So grab your comfy jumper and a pair of flip flops and enjoy the summer stars.

Please leave some feedback and some suggestions for future posts.

Orange is the new black.

To follow with all the other fashion trends that keep catching my eye, this one has stood out among the rest. Orange, its bold, bright and easy to work with. I am very scared of colour but this year I really wanted to experiment and orange has been the colour for me. Even when it comes to nail varnish, accessories or clothes, orange has stood out and caught my eye.

Its a very bold colour and many of you may be scared of styling it or wearing it but have no fear, ITS EASY! Its easy because you can simply pair a white dress with a orange bag or wear an orange dress with a black leather jacket to tone it down.

Trust me, you should experiment and be bold this summer by adding some orange to your wardrobe.

showing a little flesh.

This summer cut outs are very on trend, if it’s on your shoes or on your clothing. I personally really love cut out dresses as I think they are really cute and can be made sexy by showing just a little bit of skin. Ok, they may not give you the best tan lines when walking around in the sun but who cares when your looking sexy.

Cut outs are really on trend and it has been seen all across the high street shops. I think cut outs bring a dress to life and make it seem different and unusual. My favorite is cut outs in the back like a cage pattern, I personally think this is my favorite type of cut out.

I am aware cut outs may not be for everyone and they are a love or hate sort of trend, but personally I LOVE them. I think everybody should give them a go this summer because you could really look girly with an edge.

Straight lines.

This year stripes are a must have fashion piece. They are very simple and effective when trying to put together a casual outfit. This summer I have seen a lot of striped clothing in high street shops and yes, I have already purchased three striped tops. I am loving the simple striped dresses, they are not fitted but simply hang off your body. They are great for hot countries as they do not stick to your body and are a thin material.  I have seen these dresses in Topshop and on Asos.

Stripes can be paired with any type of accessories and any colour. Navy or black stripes are paired perfectly with sunshine yellow or a vibrant green. Bright coloured handbags work very well with stripes because it is a staple piece against the simple pattern and I LOVE it.

I have purchased a striped t-shirt from Primark for £4 and I love it. You can easily buy a cheap striped tshirt and glam it up with jeans or denim shorts. You can simply pair a striped t-shirt with leather look trousers and high heels to change this out fit to night time.

I am loving this seasons trend of stripes and personally feel like it is really easy to pull off, so grab yourself a stripped t-shirt and a colourful handbag and your all set for the day.

A girl should be two things, Classy and Fabulous!

Black, its that one colour that you can wear everyday and still look fabulous. Black is effortless, slimming and simple. The colour black will never go out of fashion no matter how old it is.

I personally love wearing black clothes because I feel comfortable and slim in black. Black trousers appear to make you look slimmer, I don’t know how it does it but trust me it does. I can wear black everyday with different coloured accessories because it’s an easy colour to wear and makes you look classy without making too much effort! It is very simple to throw together an all black outfit, but when wearing a jumper, roll up the sleeves to make your arms appear longer and slimmer – this is for all jumpers not just black. When wearing a all black outfit you must try to show a little bit of skin so you are not drowning in dark clothes. Black clothes are easy to put together when your feeling under the weather but try to put some bright accessories with the outfit to brighten it up.

Accessories are the key thing in an all black outfit. Accessories stand out against plain black clothing, and with black being such a plain colour you can accessories with any colour you like. I personally LOVE silver jewerlley and bright accessories too, such as pink or blue. Having said that gold is also a great colour to pair with black as it looks classy and stands out to enhance your skin colouring.

Black has always been on trend and will continue to do so.

Placid Blue.

Lately, I have really been loving light blue or pale blue. I am auburn and personally I think it really goes with my hair colouring and that’s why I have been loving this colour. Placid blue is quite an icy tone but it is very on trend for this summer as it contrasts with the hot season. Placid blue can be worn all year round and is very versatile this month.

I personally feel that this colour is very Greek and feel it has been taken and been inspired by old Greek towns.

From this you can see the rich colouring of the Greek blue doors and I personally love this colour. Placid Blue is very on trend and is being worn everywhere. It can look very icy but when paired with browns or white it has transformed into a Spring/Summer trend. This colour can be layered very easily with many different colours and patterns. The main colours I would pair Placid blue with would be sand or light grey. ¬†Many celebrities have been seen wearing this colour and I have looked at many images; I have found this colour matches every hair and skin colour. So this summer why don’t you give it ago, try something new?

White on white.

This summer I am loving the white trend. It is everywhere and it has inspired me to get some more white clothing for my summer holiday. The white on white trend is very simplistic and chic. By adding bold accessories or plain jewellery it makes this look effortless but well put together. I personally love the trend and think anybody can pull this look off well.

There isn’t much to it, you can turn a¬†day look into night in this trend as it is very simple and accessories make this look. By going from trainers to high heels you have completed your casual and night looks. You cannot go wrong with this look this summer. I have seen this look all over the catwalk and it has been seen on many famous celebrities. This look is chic, effortless and affordable so why not try it.

Another tip when wearing white clothing, you must wear nude underwear as white can be see through, so wearing nude underwear will not give you visible lines and will hide anything that can be seen. ( white + nude = NO lines )

Anybody can look and feel fabulous.
